Australian alt-country and rock singer, songwriter and guitarist Geoffrey “Geoffro” Cartwright grew up in Orange. Since then he has performed around Australia with many great artists including The Easybeats, Canned Heat, Nic Ward, Normie Rowe, Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs, Keith Lamb’s Airport, Chad Morgan and Swanee.
Aside from a stint of service in the Australian Army Geoffro has been a professional performer all his life, in many bands including his current band Beats Workin’ and has become an accomplished performer across many genre, especially soul, country and rock. His solo show brings to life some of the greatest songs across the 70s-90s and always thrills audiences with his engaging style, strong vocals and musicality.
This is a great new live music venue in Belconnen for Sunday afternoon sessions out on the deck, overlooking the spectacular mountain views over the greens of the Burns Golf Club. Come join us for a drink and wind down after golf or enjoy a great feed from the bistro.
